My worldview is primarily interpersonal and psychodynamic. I believe that the curative aspects of psychotherapy are firstly based in an open, honest and caring relationship with my clientele. The significance of a therapist's compassionate and empathic presence can never be over emphasized. My additional interests in philosophy, artistic expression and the human condition can lend an existential flavor to my approach. My experience in mental health is more than 35 years and has involved work with individuals, children and families. During my career I have assisted individuals with mental health issues of most all types and severities. I work with my clientele to understand and reveal the underpinnings of their struggles.
